.......
U.S. Presidents from 1900
.......
I have chosen 1900 as the starting point because it was the year when USA really took off as a land of technology, inventions, assembly line and path- breaking innovations.
I suppose these were all happenings in the north east states of USA .
The Southern USA was the land of blacks forcibly brought from Africa like cattle to work in the cotton plantations of southern USA states.
Nehruji here.
The much touted show case of yankee capitalism and cunning neo colonialism and which morphed
into brazen military industrial complex...after the end of second world war in 1945.
.the story of USA has always been the story of US Imperialism...behind the facade of liberalism and bourgeois democracy and press freedom and human rights.
...
There is another reason.
This is an attempt at correlating the political events in Russia the land of revolutionary communism
with American presidents.. ' reactions.
Note.
Republican party , also known as GOP ( grand old party ..) is traditionally shown in red color
while the Democratic party is shown in blue color.
.
Abraham Lincoln was a Republican
Nehruji says that Lincoln-s. Primary concern was preserving the unity of the country, rather than abolition of slavery. Lincoln was prepared to allow some southern states of big ranch and farm owners to continue with slavery if they remain with the union.
A dielectical materialist interpretation
may be that the industrial northeast of USA ( philadelphia, Ohio, Michigan, west virginia, and such coal mining and iron works) needed cheap labour
and the system of slavery..bonded labour which tied the blacks to the
soil in farms in the southern states like Missisipi , was detrimental to capitalists in north east.
As soon as slavery was abolished, the blacks migrated to the north eastern coast and supplied cheap labour for industries.
*( why so many countries in Europe
used to welcome refugees and immigrants? Ostensibly , for liberal humanitarian reasons, but in reality, they need cheap labor for their industries and routine jobs.
Why do the US Democrats want an
Open border? For the same reason.
More sinister reason in 2024, they want to give vote to them in election and win power.
Generally, a president once elected
wins the second term also.
Franklin D.Roosevelt won the election four times in succession.
1933,
Nehru here in 1936.
1937, 1941 and 1945.
He was a Democrat. and an admirer
and friend of Soviet Union and Stalin.
If a president passes away , the vice president takes over.
Rarely does a good president lose the second term.
Mediocre presidents like Gerald Ford and Jimmy Carter are examples.
1905 saw the first proletarian revolution ..the Petrograd SovietLed by Leon Trotsky. It failed however.
Here is Nehruji on that revolution.
We do not have much information about the American reaction to the 1905 Petrograd soviet.
Generally however, USA has been reluctant to intervene in Europe, Asia and Africa. This is known as Isolationism.
The Monroe doctrine gave them the framework to 'liberate' the central american, Latin American countries
-( argentuna, peru, chile, , bolivia, nicarugua, uruguay, paraguay, and a few more..all these were SPANISH colonies along with Mexico.
.Brazil was a colony of Portugal.
.The US imperialists at the time frame 1800 to 1900, felt that it was enough for them. Racially, they were either white or latino-white mix. Landed aritstocracy ..
So, Neo colonialism was safer than plain colonialism.
The Monroe Doctrine is the best known U.S. policy toward the Western Hemisphere. Buried in a routine annual message delivered to Congress by President James Monroe in December 1823, the doctrine warns European nations that the United States would not tolerate further colonization or puppet monarchs.10 May

With this brief introductiin, let us begin the survey,

Theodore Roosevelt
(1905-1909)
......
Theodore Roosevelt (born October 27, 1858, New York, New York, U.S.—died January 6, 1919, Oyster Bay, New York) was the 26th president of the United States (1901–09) and a writer, naturalist, and soldier. He expanded the powers of the presidency and of the federal government in support of the public interest in conflicts between big business and labor and steered the nation toward an active role in world politics, particularly in Europe and Asia.
He won the Nobel Prize for Peace in 1906 for mediating an end to the Russo-Japanese War (1904–05),

(1917-1921)
Woodrow Wilson was an intellectual
it was during his time, that the first world war happened and he was dragged into the war when US merchant ships were attacked by Germany.
He allowed American mercenary soldiers to fight in the cruel Russian Civil war 1917 to 1921.
Actually, he sent navy and soldiers ti fight against the Red Army , on the side of infanous Denikin white army.
Nehruji on the russian civil war.
ALL OVER THE WESTERN FRONT IN
RUSSIA A SPECTACLE WAS SEEN OF BOTH THE ALLIES AND THE GERMAN POWERS WORKING INDEPENDENTLY IN A COMMON ENTERPRISE, THE CRUSHING OF THE BOLSHEVIKS.
AGAIN WE SEE HOW MUCH GREATER IS THE FORCE OF CLASS HATRED THAT OF NATIONAL HATRED, AND NATIONAL HATRED IS POISONOUS AND BITTER ENOUGH.
WAR WAS NOT OFFICIALLY DECLARED AGAINST RUSSIA BY THESE POWERS; THEY FOUND MANY OTHER WAYS OF HARASSING THE SOVIET, NOTABLY BY ENCOURAGING THE COUNTER- REVOLUTIONARY LEADERS AND HELPING THEM WITH ARMS AND MONEY.
Does it sound familiar? The ukraine war and zelensky now in 2024.
